Sending flowers to a Singapore hospital: what the hospitals say

You can send flowers to a patient in a Singapore hospital, but some wards publish their own rule against them. At NUH, the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and the neonatal wards (Ward 24 and Ward 29) ask visitors not to bring flowers in, while the general pages we checked for NUH, SGH, KKH and Sengkang General Hospital do not mention flowers at all.
Below is only what each hospital publishes, with a link to the page and the date we checked it. If a page says nothing about flowers, we say so rather than guess.

National University Hospital (NUH)
The two NUH rules above come from ward brochures, not the main visitor page. The Ward 24 and 29 brochure also says: "If you wish to bring something personal for your baby, such as mittens, booties or photos, please check with your baby's nurse on how it may be placed on or near your baby."
If the patient is in the PICU, Ward 24 or Ward 29, please do not order flowers to that ward.
SGH, KKH and Sengkang General Hospital
None of the three pages we checked mentions flowers (checked 3 Nov 2026). Two of them do mention food:
- KKH: "For the comfort of other patients, please do not to bring foods and drinks into the wards."
- Sengkang General Hospital: "Food and drinks delivery services to the wards are not allowed to minimise risk of contamination and food-related illnesses."
What "does not mention flowers" means
It means only that the page we checked has no flower rule. It does not mean every ward in that hospital accepts flowers. If the patient is in a specialised ward, ask the family or the ward before you order.
Ordering hospital flowers from us
- Give the patient's name and ward number with the order.
- Please stay contactable through the delivery window.
- If you want the driver to call the recipient or the ward before arriving, write it under Special Requests and the driver will follow it. We do not call ahead otherwise.
- Our courier takes a photo at delivery. We send it to you if you ask.
- Card messages are printed, not handwritten.
- Delivery is free islandwide* from 12pm to 6pm. Same-day orders close at 12.30pm. A 1-hour slot is +$25, and delivery after 6pm is possible at an extra charge. *Except remote or restricted places; see our delivery page for surcharges.
- Our flowers are sent not fully open, because fully open flowers do not last in Singapore weather. How far they open depends on the variety.
